	STATE CORPORATIONS DEPARTMENT The Department of State Corporations carries out financial audits for state corporations. Part III, Sections 12 to 20 of the Public Audit Act provide for preparation and submission of accounts for audit and reporting on the audit. The Department is responsible for audit of 167 State Corporations. To audit these State Corporations, the department is structured into three divisions and six Sub-Divisions as shown below:
